Title: Pupil Services Administrator (2025-2026 School Year)
Reports to: Director of Secondary Operations
Work Schedule: 260-Day Full-Time Administrator Contract
Primary Job Function:
The Delaware Area Career Center Pupil Services Administrator serves as the instructional and operational lead administrator for the assigned pupil services programs/departments/personnel. The DACC Pupil Services Administrator provides a clear vision of learning for all students; ensures a safe, secure, and orderly learning environment; and cultivates strong relationships with partner school districts, parents, students and staff. This job description is a comprehensive list of essential functions. Essential functions are job duties a staff member must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio license or certificate appropriate for the assignment, or ability to obtain
- Five (5) years teaching experience as an Intervention Specialist preferred
- Work experience in administration preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities
Leadership:
- Responsible for providing leadership to the administrative team and instructional staff on Ohio’s Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities
- Responsible for providing leadership in directing the delivery and continuous improvement of education programs and pupil services programs to achieve the district’s written, implemented and assessed curricula and mandated proficiencies
- Responsible for providing leadership as an active member of the district’s leadership team
- Responsible for providing leadership to the development and implementation of the district's continuous improvement plan
- Responsible for providing leadership that ensures the continuity of instructional programs
- Responsible for overseeing staff collaboration with partner schools to resolve problems related to the participation of students in appropriate career-technical education programs
- Responsible for ensuring that services are provided in the least restrictive educational environment
- Responsible for encouraging high expectations for staff performance
- Responsible for providing the necessary leadership for the completion of effective and timely staff evaluations
- Responsible for providing leadership in the planning and delivery of staff development programs
- Responsible for providing leadership to the staff through the development of action plans, resolution of problems and maintaining open communication with not only staff but also the community
- Responsible for ensuring the equitable distribution of workloads and extra assignments

Coordination, Support & Communication:
- Responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily operations of the high school
- Responsible for coordinating and supporting the development and implementation of programs and plans to ensure the safety of all students
- Responsible for coordinating and supporting all safety and required drills
- Responsible for communications with staff
- Responsible for communicating with all facilities personnel to maintain a safe educational environment
- Responsible for communicating with parents and home school districts involving student discipline issues
- Responsible for collaborating with partner schools to resolve problems related to the participation of students in appropriate career-technical education programs
- Responsible for supporting the delivery of a continuum of services that include but are not limited to:
- Enrollment

- Responsible for the serving as a liaison and pupil services information resource for the community, partner schools and career-technical school staff
- Responsible for supporting a full range of educational options, working with student assistance teams and participating in parent conferences
- Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with community service providers. This includes but is not limited to:
- Law enforcement
- Health care facilities
- Child welfare services
- Responsible for supporting procedures to ensure that all medicines are stored and dispensed safely
Data & Assessment:
- Responsible for interpreting census data, student enrollment growth and emerging personnel needs
- Responsible for overseeing testing programs and analyzing the results from those tests
- Responsible for providing staff direction for instructional modifications and interventions as a result of the test analysis in order to enhance student learning and improve test performance
- Responsible for overseeing the timely submission of reports, records and inventories. Maintains district records and data for the maximum period mandated by law and/or Board policy
- Responsible for roster verification as it pertains to value added
Budget:
- Responsible for administering the Board approved budget
- Responsible for identifying and recommending funding opportunities
- Responsible for helping prepare grant and foundation proposals
Professional Responsibilities:

- Responsible for maintaining visibility in the community and promoting a professional image of the school district
