Job Summary:
\Della Infotech, Inc. is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to support our food safety quality and operational teams.
\The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific principles and laboratory procedures, with the ability to perform routine analytical and laboratory testing.
\Responsibilities:

- Perform routine quantitative and qualitative inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process and final products independently \
- Support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision \
- Run calibration checks, preventive maintenance tasks, and simple repair to analytical instrumentation \
- Interpret and document results of tests into active databases and communicate results to internal customers as required \
- Ensure compliance programs for all individual testing, which includes monitoring adherence to regulations and other procedural food safety compliance \
- Handle clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff \
- Write routine reports and correspondence \
- Maintain customer specifications books up-to-date \
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build, maintain and improve an effective food safety, quality and regulatory culture \
- Develop and implement methods to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness \
- Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with latest laboratory techniques and technologies \
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve laboratory operations \
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results \
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior staff members as needed \
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology \
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills \
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize laboratory processes and procedures \
- Develop and maintain documentation of laboratory procedures and protocols \
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance \
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives \
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of laboratory tasks and projects \
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders \
- Be proactive in identifying and addressing laboratory inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement \
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment \

Requirements:
\We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who possesses a Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent experience (5 years) and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
\Candidates must also be able to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals).
\Avoidance of accidents in the workplace is also mandatory.
