Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner

y Nursing Home is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. Located in Northern NY, our facility is committed to providing high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to residents in collaboration with the supervising physician
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, and manage chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans
• Participate in care planning and multidisciplinary team meetings
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the respective field
• Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care setting is preferred but not required
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
  

Schedule

• Monday to Friday; no nights or weekends
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive pay rate of $70.00 per hour
