What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Services Coordinator position at Delta County?
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The coordinator provides administrative and technical support to Human Services. The incumbent will assist the Human Services Director and administrative staff with coordination of Delta County and State of Colorado responsibilities, records management, record requests, as well as coordination of multiple program requests within human services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Joint Agency Interoperability (JAI) digitization management system for each unit in Human Services.
- Coordinate with the director between Colorado Human Services Directors Association (CHSDA), and the Colorado Department of Human Services(CDHS) for co-chair, subcommittees, and Sub Political Action Committees (subPAC)s, and provide administrative support as assigned.
- Manage human services network security as assigned, initiating access to Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS), Trails, Automated Child Support Enforcement System (ACSES), and other State of Colorado portals
- Obtain, scan and manage child welfare archive records, open and adoption case records.
- Maintain assigned department record keeping database(s) according to the retention policy.
- Communicate with clients, business, and requestors of records and complete or coordinate completion of requests using organizational systems.
- Track, follow up, and complete requests for records.
- Coordinate all Child Welfare audits (Out of Home ((OOH)), In-Home, and Assessments).
- Develop and maintain Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR) for Human Services Programs.
- Serve as the coordinator for Human Services public engagement software by creating announcements, events and publishing notices regarding benefits programs and relevant alerts.
- Serve as the Human Services coordinator for digital accessibility compliance with the Colorado Anti-discrimination Act (CADA) by receiving and delivering training and digital compliance as assigned by the Director to appropriate department personnel.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in business administration, behavioral health, records management, legal studies or related field is preferred
Experience:
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a related professional position demonstrated in application materials is desired
OR
Three (3) years of experience in records management, legal and/or human services field is required
Combination of education and experience could waive specific requirements.

Hiring Salary Range:
$22.57 to $24.83 hourly depending upon qualifications
