This position supports the contact center by responding to internal agent and external customer inquiries and referrals, and assist in phone queues to educate and enroll prospective policyholders in our individual insurance plans. Will include taking inbound calls in queue, assisting with online quote requests, and chat / live calls both internal and external customer escalations. Will assist business unit in service and billing capacity as needed. Grow your skills for promotional opportunities and cross-train into other areas for a broad foundation of knowledge. The hours for this hybrid position will be 10 : 30 am-7 : 00 pm, M-F, with the opportunity to move to earlier shifts as they become available. You do not want to miss this opportunity, apply today.In this role, our Consumer Sales Representative will : Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of products and servicesDevelop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of Sales and Customer Relationship Management toolsMeet and Maintain Core Contact Center Key Performance Indicators to provide an excellent customer experience to all callers in queueResponsible for providing accurate benefit design information and closing the sale of the productsFollow-up with prospects / customers to provide additional information to facilitate the sales processProvide internal and external customer service for prospects and agents relating to benefit plan options, general plan inquiries, enrollment and billing and other issues as required. Customer service may be provided by chat, telephone, web, email or other type of communication.Participate in team meetingsSpecial projects and other duties as assignedEducation / Experience / Personal RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent with two years of sales related business experienceSales and inbound / outbound contact center experience requiredMust have or be willing to obtain Resident Accident and Health Insurance license and Non-Resident license in reciprocal states within 3 months (Delta Dental will facilitate process and provide study time)Computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite applicationsAbility to actively listen and understand information to direct consumers to appropriate productAbility to communicate information clearly and confidently to assist customers as neededStrong interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and directedAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasksMust be well-organized and attentive to detailPersuasive selling skills with strong customer service orientationExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other computer components Equal Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
