Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the mechanical, pump, or electric motor industry.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, and electric motors, with the ability to discuss specifications and applications with engineers and technical teams.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites within the assigned territory.
Develop relationships with municipal and industrial clients, including engineering teams, procurement personnel, and key decision-makers.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions leveraging our mechanical, pump, and electric motor product lines.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver accurate proposals, technical specifications, and project support.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth objectives.
Prior experience working with municipal water and wastewater projects, industrial facilities, or energy sector clients.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to mechanical and pump systems.
