Job Overview
DeMarco Permit Company specializes in obtaining building permits for Home Builders. We obtain construction documents from our clients that are then used to create permit applications for new home construction. We then deliver applications, follow through on the review process and deliver permits when they are complete. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee our operations in and around Atlanta. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be self motivated and have very high communication skills. Work can be done remotely but must have a drivers license and vehicle. An integral part of the position will require driving from home builder offices to municipalities to obtain and deliver permit documents.
Objectives
We reduce days from contract to start by obtaining building permits efficiently from municipalities.
We establish one point of contact between the municipality and the builder to improve the transfer of information and expedite the resolution of problems that may arrive.
We ensure timely completion of permits by monitoring the municipalities progress, communicating time lines and priorities and maintaining regular contact with the authorities daily.
We produce and manage a permit status update distributed to the home builder periodically. This update is used by administration, production and management as a tool to make educated decisions related to purchasing lots and starting construction.
The entire building permit process is managed by us allowing home builders admin, production and management staff more time to efficiently to obtain their goals.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a regulatory or compliance-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, FDA guidelines, and public health standards.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and foster a culture of compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in regulatory reporting processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on compliance objectives.
