Urgently seeking full-time front desk receptionist to join our team at Demetrios Spine and Wellness Physical Therapy to support our physical therapy staff. If you have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, proficient multitasking ability, and have an eagerness to learn and take initiative, you could be a good fit!

Job Description:

  • Day shift
  • Part time or Full time
  • In person (no remote work)
  • Salary: $16-$20/hr
  • Clinic Hours: Mondays-Fridays 8am- 5pm, no weekends
  • Contract workers welcome
  • Experience in an energetic, professional, and friendly workplace

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and check them in/out
  • Schedule appointments
  • Referral management
  • Verify insurance
  • Checks confirmations/cancellations in the appointment reminder system
  • Maintains clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Data entry, and customer service responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls
  • Direct patients and others to appropriate area
  • Accurately register patients and create/update patient accounts within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Demonstrate excellent Customer Service and maintain HIPAA Compliance
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working in medical office setting or experience as front desk receptionist (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation or relocation to Murrieta 92592
  • Available Mondays-Fridays from at least 9 am

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proficiency in computer skills and experience with electronic scheduling systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MS Office and basic office support skills (filing, data entry, telephone)
  • Medical Terminology knowledge (Preferred but not required)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with patients and coworkers in a tactful and customer service oriented manner to create a warm and welcoming environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Willingness to learn and problem solve
  • Excellent multitasking ability
  • Punctuality is a must

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
