The IT Systems Specialist will support all aspects of Denali's business, including Research, Development, and General & Administrative (G&A) functions. This role requires providing technical assistance and support for service requests related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for end users: support and manage end-user Mac, Windows, and iOS devices; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues; monitor, and prioritize support tickets and requests; document processes and resolutions, proactively suggesting system improvements.
- Conduct IT onboarding for new employees, including access setup, equipment configuration, and training.
- Oversee the setup, testing, and operation of integrated Audio and Video systems, including digital signage, microphones, cameras, and conferencing tools.
- Provide technical support for laboratory environments, ensuring proper configuration and integration of instruments and PCs.
- Support large group gatherings, including all-hands meetings, presentations, and company-wide events.
- Provide basic infrastructure support for system, network, and data storage platforms.
- Support cloud-based platforms, including Google Apps Suite, Microsoft, and AWS.
- Engage with external vendors, contractors, and consultants as required.
- Assist with procurement and lifecycle management of physical assets and software licenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to support projects and initiatives.
- Undergraduate or associate’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or a related field.
- 3 years of information technology support experience, ideally within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- High energy and the ability to work independently in a rapidly growing environment, handling a high volume of requests.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to contribute to a highly team-oriented IT department.
- Excellent people and communication skills, capable of supporting end users both in person and remotely (via phone and Zoom).
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and security, with the ability to support a wide range of technologies.
- Resourceful and creative problem solving capabilities, with the capacity to automate redundant tasks for greater productivity and efficiency.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues across multiple domains with minimal guidance.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with GxP compliance and familiarity with FDA regulations is highly desirable.
