Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Utilize logic controllers for diagnosing issues within automated systems.
• Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or replacements.
• Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal of properties.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.

Experience

• Proven experience in a maintenance role, with demonstrated mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with supervising teams or projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
• Experience with customer service is a plus, ensuring positive interactions with clients or tenants.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.60 - $27.92 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
