Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team for 3 days/week. Fridays are a must. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Strive to provide a superior patient experience
- Check out patients
- Calculate co-payments and present treatment plan
- Educate the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options, including third-party patient financing
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls
- Schedule and confirm appointments for Doctors and Hygienists
- Collect and post patient payments
- Follow-up as needed with the patient between visits for non scheduled, canceled, or missed appointments
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing and other duties as assigned
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
- Provide customer support by addressing any concerns or questions from clients promptly.
Experience
- Must have previous experience in a dental office.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Proficient computer literacy, including familiarity with office software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
