Job Responsibilities
- Assist internal and external customers with billing issues and questions
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Resolve problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; working with other teams to resolve problems on customer accounts; following up to ensure resolution
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Keep records of customer interactions
- Collect payments and set up payment plans
- Assist with training new employees
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm & Friday 9:00am-3:00pm
- Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office per week
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Proven customer support experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientated and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
