Certified Dental Assistant
We are a high-end boutique dental practice in Fairfield County, CT seeking a highly skilled, energetic, reliable and organized Certified Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team.
Responsibilities
- Review the daily schedule and prepare appropriate trays and instruments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, set up instruments and materials, and sterilize equipment following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist (s) during procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
- Assist in restorative and cosmetic dentistry using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Record and review patient health history, ensuring accurate chart entries and form completion.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols.
- Assist with scheduling and front desk duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant or prior on-the-job training.
- DANB Radiography/X-Ray Certification (CT state requirement).
- DANB Infection Control Certificate.
- CPR Certification (required).
- Proficiency in iTero scanning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
