Job Description
Carat Content is looking for a Sr. Manager to work on strategy, content development, implementation, and measurement of content-led ideas for more than one national brand. This Sr. Manager will serve as the day-to-day account lead, but partner closely with the VP on all content related elements, including designing and executing brand content strategies, cultivating new content opportunities, and managing and executing content-driven programs.
This role is for a content-focused advertising and marketing professional who possess a strong background in designing content solutions, identifying, negotiating, and activating branded entertainment integrations, program management, communication planning, production, and program analytics.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Exceptional account management and client service.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal media teams to understand brand goals, objectives, launches and messaging for our clients.
- Respond to client objectives with content-based solutions rooted in strategy and aligned with data and insights.
- Lead the day-to-day content needs for the branded content and branded entertainment initiatives through participation in ideation/brainstorming sessions internally and with partners, crafting campaign RFPs, briefing media partners, pitching and selling in programs to clients, and end-to-end project management support – from kick-off, legal agreements, timelines, quality assurance for assets and messaging, creative development and approval, pre-production, production, post-production, and wrap-up reports/measurements. More specifically:
- Lead mid-level meetings such as agency/client status, measurement, tracking, reporting
- Create/oversee live program working documents (status sheets/calls, program work-back schedules, production and promotional calendars, content roll-out, ROI calculator management, social capture during content rollout, and behavioral and attitudinal measurement tracking)
- Collate initial partner RFP responses and evaluate against partnership criteria scorecard
- Coordinate with media team on trafficking, tagging and reporting in accordance with best practice
- Work with client teams and agency partners to ensure program assets are fully utilized, including social cadence with media and paid social plans, organic partner plan, social copy and content calendars from partners
- Activate internal and external PR opportunities, develop client program performance reporting, partner marketing coordination and client internal marketing write-ups
- Follow measurement strategy for campaigns and ensure that in-campaign and post-campaign learnings are captured and actioned for optimization
- Lead post-campaign wrap-up report development working closely with VP and wider media team
- Lead completion of media ROI analysis working closely with media team for pricing/value calculations
- Actively pursue new opportunities in the entertainment landscape by cultivating existing relationships, meeting with new vendors, and acting as an ambassador for Carat Content in appropriate settings.
- Stay atop of a current content and technology trends, shifts and how those impact our clients’ businesses.
Qualifications
- 4 years’ experience in branded content, integrated marketing, production, or advertising
- Knowledge of the media/entertainment space, planning, negotiation, content best practices, and measurement
- Experience working with pharma brands is preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats, including confidence presenting (i.e.: Develop concepts, build decks, research and recaps, client presentations, etc.)
- A creative/strategic thinker, with the ability to generate and build on ideas
- Accountable for their work and possess a POV and a sense of natural curiosity
- Requires an assertive, highly motivated team player, displaying the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- First-rate project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, following best practices and staying organized throughout
- Strong follow-though skills and ability to solve problems quickly in the face of challenges
- Experience working across several different organizations at a given time, and ability to form strong working relationships with clients, agency, and partners/alliances personnel
- Must be flexible to travel whenever necessary to attend production shoots, etc.
- Software/Program Proficiency: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, all social media platforms
