Job Duties

  • Ability to work with numbers and perform mathematical
  • Ability to work well with others in all levels of staff, including management and co-workers
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for prolong periods, walk, bend, carry objects and work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to manage inventory using computerized software
  • Ability to operate hand cars and mechanical material handling equipment
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse and with power tools and automated material handling equipment
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Knowledge of Warehouse shipping and receiving procedures
  • Ability to operate various material handling equipment.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form

Additional Considerations

  • Working knowledge or experience in inventory control or a warehouse environment, including counting of supplies and making adjustments preferred
  • Working knowledge of state surplus property processing preferred
  • Knowledge of fixed asset tagging and tracking preferred
