Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the standardization of background investigation record information to improve quality and decision making.
- Operational implementation of centralized record collection to ensure ingestion and processing of record data meets national investigative standards.
- Ensure Support Contracts perform business processes to produce high-quality products in a timely manner.
- Deliver reliable and effective enterprise-wide critical record information, achieving program-wide standards for authenticity and reliability.
- Plan and control technological change available for automation enhancements and lead integration of automated records into the investigative process.
- Lead staff report evaluation using knowledge of principles of records and information management, administrative processes and systems, cost control, governmental recordkeeping requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Foster collaboration between staff teams across geographic and unit-specific boundaries to satisfy stakeholder and customer needs and requirements.
- Consult and collaborate with DCSA staff and managers to identify, access, and acquire electronic records needed to complete background investigations.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- Male born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Resume and supporting documents received by 11:59 PM EST will be considered
- This is a Drug Testing designated position
- Position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) Position in the Excepted Service under U.S.C 1601
Qualifications:
- Technical Qualifications (TQ):
- Demonstrated ability in applying transformation principles, techniques, methods, processes, and technology to improve operations and manage programs.
- Working knowledge of security programs, including organizations, existing regulatory guidance, operational procedures, and private sector security methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex policy and compliance activities and provide advice/consultation for enterprise level objectives to top-level officials in the DoD, Military Departments, Defense Agencies, non-DoD Agencies, and/or the Defense Industrial Base.
- Work experience that qualifies for joint duty certification under IC Directive 601.

This position does not have a positive education requirement.
