ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST/ SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT / DISTRICT OFFICE / SAN DIEGO, CA.

The reporting location for this position is the San Diego District Office, San Diego CA. This position will work under the supervision of the District Administrative Chief.

This position is responsible for managing the District's interesting and busy Concession Program and the growing Special Events program. On the concessions side, duties include concession contract preparation, minor Request for Proposal development, collection, evaluation, and analysis of concession data from a variety of sources to identify trends, program needs, and current level concession performance. The position will monitor contract compliance and work directly with concessionaire partners to resolve challenges. Within the Special Events program, responsibility to assist in managing the initiatives that market the State Parks System and generate revenue for the Department while contributing to the Parks' Mission. Position may need to work weekends and holidays.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered

This position is designated as telework office centered.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Working Conditions

Majority of job is office work and on occasion there are onsite concession evaluations and special event onsite park meetings this position will attend as needed.
