What are the responsibilities and job description for the WATER AND SEWAGE PLANT SUPERVISOR position at Department of Parks & Recreation?
This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
The reporting location for this position is Columbia State Historic Park, located in Columbia, California. This position will work under the general direction of the District Maintenance Chief. This position is known as the “Operator in Charge” for Facilities Development and has oversight responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater systems throughout the Sector. This position directs the work of others in system operations and may be requested to work with or direct staff in system related matters at other Sectors within the Central Valley District.
The incumbent’s work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm

This position is designated as not telework eligible.
Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.961, this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing.
