What are the responsibilities and job description for the supervisory program analyst position at Department of the Army?
The position serves as the Chief of the Financial Management Branch within the Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate's Business & Operations. As a direct supervisor, you will lead approximately eighteen government financial management personnel performing critical business operations such as monitoring, analyzing, and controlling data associated with the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and/or other information systems. This role is responsible for overseeing financial management personnel performing critical business operations, including research and development portfolio execution. You will serve as the focal point for all research and development portfolio fiscal year-end issues and appropriation close-out issues. Additionally, you will execute mission and customer funds, analyze and monitor portfolio execution against approved obligation plans, and develop and interpret the complete planning, programming, and budgeting function. This position requires a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certification and has a salary control point at a base pay of not less than the salary associated with GS-14 step 10 on the OPM base pay table.
