DutiesYou will identify program office and other discipline area support needed to meet assigned program requirements.You will apply the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues.You will coordinate appropriate interface segments of the program with other program managers, management officials, and leadership.You will synthesize critical management issues, documentation and relevant information to support program reviews.You will evaluate work performance of team members and provided inputs to improve deliverables.You will advise higher-level officials of program status and problems that require resolution.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05 (equivalent to GS-12 / GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : 1) Managing and supporting teams to achieve program technical, cost and schedule objectives. 2) Developing and coordinating all required program acquisition documentation and briefings, while ensuring all program requirements and milestones were communicated and coordinated with program leadership. 3) Interfacing with Resource Sponsors in developing and defending requirements and program budgets. 4) Promulgating detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders through the PPBE process. 5) Analyzing needs and requirements information necessary for development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site : Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
