Job Summary
The Department of the Navy is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Operator to supervise and manage water supply, treatment, and storage programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and sufficient drinking water to facilities located throughout Camp Pendleton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and sufficient drinking water provision to facilities
- Problem-solving skills relating to water supply, treatment, and storage
- Implementation and management of federal, state, local, and departmental water programs
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a US Citizen
- Be determined suitable for federal employment
- Participate in the direct deposit pay program
- Maintain a valid state vehicle operator's license
- Meet physical demands including climbing ladders, lifting over 50 pounds, crouching, and crawling in confined spaces
- Possess a Water Treatment Operator Certification Grade II or Water Distribution Operator Certification Grade II from the State of California Department of Health
