What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Outreach Manager position at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech?
DePaul School is seeking a dynamic individual to present DePaul School to the corporate sector. The ideal candidate will develop and work a comprehensive corporate outreach strategy for DePaul School, build the architecture to identify key personnel within the business community and forge meaningful relationships, and research businesses that identify with the mission of DePaul School.
Full-time, Exempt, salary commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
With the Institutional Giving Officer and the Executive Director, create a three-to-five-year corporate outreach strategic plan. This plan should include:
- A target list of businesses, both current supporters and new leads
- Through research and connections develop an attractive reciprocal benefit packet “value proposition”
- Build a schedule of events for posting on DePaul’s website
- Develop donor recognition naming rights for major donors
- Attend business events within the city to meet key stakeholders
- Procure Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) monies in support of SAILL Program
- Develop a schedule of visits/events with potential business partners at DePaul and off-site to introduce DePaul School’s programs to corporate audiences
- Build an engagement strategy and timeline including marketing
- Create a three-to-five-year budget, tracking revenue and expenses
- Work closely with DePaul’s leadership to build strong internal support and messaging
- Emphasize Board engagement to create a task force of Board Members to meet bi-monthly
Schedule in-person meetings and school visits with potential key stakeholders including DePaul School’s Institutional Giving Officer or/and Executive Director to build knowledge of the School within the corporate sphere
With Institutional Giving Officer, tracks corporate interactions along with funds secured. Utilize the wealth search feature of the Donor-Perfect database to ascertain corporate and individual giving potential
Qualifications
- Three years of experience securing corporate donations, sponsorships, and other support
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- CRM database and Excel experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Possess a collegial manner with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid PA driver’s license
- Pass a criminal background check and possess the appropriate child clearances as required by Pennsylvania Department of Education
