Design and manufacture mechanical systems and components using CAD software.

Conduct research and analysis to determine design feasibility, cost, and performance benefits.

Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing, focusing on sheet metal fabrication, armored structure development, fixture development, and value-engineering.

Perform testing and validation of prototypes and final products to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Collaborate with electrical engineers, software engineers, and other team members to integrate mechanical designs with overall product architecture.

Identify and solve engineering problems by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.

Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production process.

Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes.

Manage multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in mechanical design and development.

3-5 years of experience in sheet metal and machined part fabrication, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.

Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred, but not required.
