Job Summary:
Deshazo is seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team. This on-site role will provide technical support to company employees under the direction of the IT Support Manager. While you’ll be based at our headquarters, over 70% of the users you’ll support are located across the U.S. in our manufacturing plants and service locations. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support to end users via phone, email, and RMM/Ticketing System.
- Document, track, and monitor technical support tickets to ensure timely resolution and follow-up
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for both on-site and remote employees.
- Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Support IT asset management, including inventory tracking and deployment via RMM and MDM.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
- Assist with IT projects such as software rollouts, security updates, and system upgrades.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
