Qualifications
- This position will favor someone with a strong Front-End / UX design skillset
- A minimum of 2-3 years demonstrated experience : UX designer, interactive designer, front-end designer, or equivalent
- Must be able to work with users to establish workflows
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
- Have a diverse portfolio and the ability to work in a variety of styles and media
- Examples of highly detailed wireframes and designs
- Ability to use and participate in shaping a design system
- An excellent understanding of typography
- Proficient using various design tools (ex : Adobe Creative Suite, AdobeXD or Figma)
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Self-starter with excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet challenging deadlines
- Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Deductive reasoning, listening, flexibility, and critical thinking skills and the ability to predict problems before they occur
- Ability to easily adapt and learn new things, whether it’s a new prototyping tool, design process, or business process
- Knowledge of Google Design Sprints
- Knowledge of agile software development
- Fine arts background
- Ability to travel frequently to Northern Virginia or relocate
