We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. Responsibilities
- Provide in-person and remote IT support to users for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to user productivity.
- Assist with network administration tasks, including DNS management and computer networking.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical issues and provide clear solutions.
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop systems and peripherals.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes and enhance user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
- Proficiency in Mac OS and familiarity with other operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong software troubleshooting skills across various applications.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Knowledge of network administration principles, including DNS configuration.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience with computer networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow is a plus.
