What You’ll Be Doing as a Patient Care Coordinator
As the first point of contact for patients and families, you will help create a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience at our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and families with warmth and professionalism.
- Managing schedules – Registering and scheduling patients in our EMR system.
- Handling insurance verifications & authorizations – Helping families understand and navigate billing and insurance needs.
- Answering phone calls & assisting with inquiries – Providing a calm and confident voice for new patients and concerned parents.
- Supporting clinic operations – Helping maintain an organized and clean office environment.
- Assisting therapists as needed – Ensuring smooth transitions between appointments and helping with office tasks.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and caring individual who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Customer Service Experience Required – At least one year in a medical office, customer service and administrative role.
- Experience with EMR Systems & Insurance Authorization is Preferred – Prior experience in a physical therapy or pediatric clinic is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills – You’ll be working closely with patients, parents, and therapists daily.
- A Positive, Team-First Attitude – We want someone who loves working with children and families.
- Excellent Organizational Skills – Ability to multitask and manage schedules with accuracy and professionalism.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Minimum 20 Hours Per Week – Flexible hours available, including 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
- No Weekends Required – Monday-Friday work schedule
- Work Location: In-person at our Mount Kisco clinic
