DGR Systems is looking for a Director of Professional Services Delivery to focus on leading and developing our professional services practice areas. This individual will lead our professional services team members including practice leads, architects, engineers, and technicians and will be instrumental in developing service offerings and assuring all delivery meets our expectations. This position requires an individual that is highly motivated and passionate with the ability to identify and develop great talent, stay current with IT industry trends, understand customer needs, and deliver the highest level of professional services. Qualified candidates will have keen technical acumen and the ability to focus on short-term objectives without losing sight of long-term value. This individual will reside in the Tampa Bay or surrounding area, be an essential member of the DGR Systems core leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of talented service delivery engineers within Modern Workspace, Modern Security, Modern Infrastructure and Modern Data teams.
- Provide leadership, employee development, coaching and mentorship enabling the team to execute competently and professionally in our areas of focus.
- Bring clarity, creativity, and passion to the team – by setting a vision, rallying the team behind it, and driving real business value to our clients.
- Ensure the team’s success by removing roadblocks, addressing conflicts, and operating as its champion.
- Motivate and instill a strong sense of ownership and build a culture of accountability within the delivery team.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers and the PMO on project schedules and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain specific knowledge of clients and how our services relate to their business strategy and goals.
- Review project deliverables for accuracy and consistency by leading project review processes and provide direct feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with the appropriate internal teams to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports client’s needs.
- Manage escalations internally to ensure appropriate servicing of client needs.
- Ensure consistency of existing systems by enforcing standards and procedures for implementing technical solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership and work closely with others across the organization to define and deliver new service product offerings.
- Own the pre-sales support process while contributing to overall business strategy, plans and technology direction.
- Lead C-level and Sr. level meetings with clients to execute discovery and understanding of technical and business needs.
- Conduct client focused business and technical workshops in areas such as architectural discovery, project charters, road map and planning sessions, and knowledge sharing.
- Attend regular leadership meetings and provide reporting related to delivery team efforts and utilization.
