Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Jewelry Quality Control Agent to ensure that all jewelry pieces meet our company’s high-quality standards before reaching customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in jewelry manufacturing & inspection under a microscope, and a strong understanding of materials, craftsmanship, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect jewelry for defects, including setting issues, polishing flaws, incorrect sizing, and metal or stone imperfections.
- Understand and adhere to individual client quality expectations of craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
- Verify that all pieces match design specifications and meet brand quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper dimensions and alignment.
- Identify and document defects, communicating necessary corrections to production teams.
- Collaborate with jewelers, and production teams to maintain consistency and quality.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and report findings to management.
- Assist in developing and refining quality control procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in jewelry quality control & jewelry manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of jewelry components, settings, and production techniques.
- Ability to use magnification tools (loupe & microscope) and measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with production teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards for precious metal and gemstones
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
