Key Job Responsibilities :
a) Strategic Planning :
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
Set sales targets, forecast revenue, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
b) Team Management :
Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to build a high-performing team.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Organize sales training programs to enhance team capabilities.
c) Sales Operations :
Lead Sales for Gene Goodwillie & SMG Box Co. (formerly PSN) : Drive sales of boxes under the newly rebranded name, ensuring strong market presence and growth.
Manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring efficient execution and strict adherence to company policies and best practices.
Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies, driving targeted campaigns and optimizing lead generation efforts.
Monitor CRM systems to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and implement data-driven improvements.
Support vendor relationships, manage procurement processes, and ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain operations.
Take on the added responsibility of selling for DIA Packaging, the parent company, broadening the product offering and enhancing market reach.
d) Customer Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.
Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues effectively.
e) Market Research and Analysis :
Analyze competitors' strategies and market trends to refine sales approaches.
Identify new markets and customer segments for business expansion.
f) Reporting and Budgeting :
Prepare and present sales reports, performance analysis, and forecasts for senior management.
Manage sales budgets and ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented.
