IT Ops Analyst - Part Time

The IT Ops Analyst is responsible for ongoing operational tasks that are performed in IT.

Part Time

Work Hours: 10:00pm - 3:00am Central Time

What is your impact?

• Provide analysis and metrics to support clients:
  - Primary focus on continuous improvement to support needs and demands of clients.
  - Update process and procedures and assist with implementation to teams as requested by Senior IT Operations Analyst.
  - Assess situations quickly and create short-term solutions with long-term plans for improvement based on input from others combined with discoveries from data analysis. (45%)
• Assist in addressing points of escalation by identifying root cause and analysis related to the day-to-day operations with Customer Service, Claims Processing and other areas impacting Operations. (15%)
• Run and analyze reports based on metrics and data to identify trends and provider recommendations on continuous improvement of current processes, procedures, and impact. (15%)
• Create and streamline processes based on designs provided by Senior and IT Business Analysts. Make recommendations for improvements. (15%)
• Participate in calls and meetings as requested and serve to assist Subject Matter Expert reading and reporting data in order to make necessary decisions. (10%)

Qualifications
1 years related work experience.
Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Math, Computer Science, MIS or Engineering
Advanced knowledge and significant experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Strong oral and written presentation/communication skills
Comfortable working across operational areas within the organization, and in direct contact with clients
Able to work in ambiguity and present information in a way for others to understand
Must handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately

General Physical Demands:

• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
