Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Handle pets safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Assist in animal care tasks as needed, including feeding, walking, and monitoring the health of pets.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff when necessary to address any health concerns or special requirements for pets.
Experience
- Proven experience in dog handling and grooming is preferred; however, we are open to training enthusiastic candidates with a strong desire to learn.
- Background in customer service is essential to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Experience as a veterinary assistant or technician is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with animal care practices, including animal restraint techniques and kennel management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.

Pay: $15.20 - $25.00 per hour
