Our mental health residential facility is seeking an exceptional and experienced Clinical Director to join our dedicated team. As a Clinical Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to individuals seeking treatment for mental health disorders. Responsibilities:
1. Provide clinical oversight and leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including therapists, counselors, and medical staff, by providing guidance, support, and direction in clinical matters.
2. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs: Design and implement evidence-based clinical programs and treatment plans that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Continuously evaluate their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to optimize patient care.
3. Monitor and analyze treatment outcomes: Collect and analyze data on treatment outcomes to measure the effectiveness of interventions. Use this information to make data-informed decisions and continuously improve treatment protocols.
4. Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments, such as admissions, medical, and administrative teams, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients. Foster effective communication and cooperation to provide a positive patient experience.
5. Staff training and development: Oversee staff training initiatives to enhance clinical competencies and ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures. Support the professional growth and development of the clinical team.
6. Foster a culture of excellence: Create a supportive and motivating work environment that promotes excellence, compassion, and professionalism among the clinical team. Encourage collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality care.
7. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices: Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, research findings, and best practices in substance abuse treatment. Apply this knowledge to inform continuous improvement efforts within the facility.
8. Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards governing mental health treatment services. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; doctoral degree preferred.
2. Current licensure: Hold a valid license as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of Florida.
3. Proven leadership experience: Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a substance abuse detox and residential facility, with a strong track record of managing clinical operations and leading a team.
4. Strong knowledge of mental health treatment: Possess a deep understanding of mental health treatment modalities, evidence-based practices, and clinical assessment tools. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field.
5. Familiarity with regulations and standards: Have knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards governing mental health treatment facilities to ensure compliance.
6. Interpersonal and leadership skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
