Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic professional to help establish and manage our logistics department. The Logistics Coordinator role is an opportunity for an organized, ambitious, detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to grow with the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track all shipments from Europe and report any delays to Parent Company.
- Inspect and report any non-conforming incoming goods to Parent Company for a corrective action to be agreed and implemented
- Update and maintain 787 inventory data with full reporting transparency.
- Kitting and delivery of 787 products in a timely and safemanner to Boeing Charleston SC facility as per instructions from the Customer
- Maintain Record keeping in order and ensure of easy accessibility
- Weekly proactive planning (Quality docs, kitting 24 hrs. ahead of delivery, accurate inventory levels, highlight delivery concerns)
- Scan outgoing products with scanning software
- Weekly communications with Boeing and Parent Company with minutes of meetings
- Maintain and Audit Quarantine and Holding shelf
- Ensure shelf-life products are tracked and handled properly
- Work in a safe and legal manner using safety equipment provided by the Company
- Contribute to Kaizen 6-S
- Experience with SAP is a plus
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with inventory or warehousing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand more than 4 hours per day
- Able to drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route & schedule
