Account Executive – About this role


This sales position supports one of Dig Insight’s most important strategic objectives – embedding the Upsiide platform as the innovation testing protocol in key customer segments. As an Account Executive, this individual will implement our new business strategy and manage all sales activities required to achieve growth targets. Reporting to the Director of Upsiide Sales, this hunter and closer role is pivotal in accelerating our delivery of new business growth.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Accountable for meeting/exceeding our Upsiide sales goals, including outbound activity, demos, pipeline build, and bookings.
  • Maximize contract value by selling large Upsiide engagements to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns and content; maximize the use of that content throughout the sales funnel.
  • Embrace and explore new technologies to increase sales productivity.
  • Develop and nurture your own sales leads from inbound and outbound activities, leveraging multiple channels, tactics, and technologies in your outreach.
  • Host and lead product demos with sales prospects.
  • Become an expert in our product, market, and customers.
  • Master all features and functionality of Upsiide and develop your own demo style.
  • Understand current landscape and customer pain points to correlate Upsiide as a solution.
  • Cross sell and upsell by uncovering expanded use cases and stakeholders.
  • Persistently manage the sales cycle to accelerate deal velocity.
  • Proactively identify new customer segments and verticals to prospect.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Upsiide Sales to refine strategy based on market opportunities.


Experience, Skills and Requirements:


  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding new business sales targets as an individual contributor
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience selling market research solutions and SaaS platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in selling a SaaS solution to senior stakeholders.
  • Passion for building new business, with a diverse set of tactics in your toolbox.
  • An understanding of how market research is applied in CPG, QSR, retail, technology, financial services, telecommunications, or other relevant industries.
  • Experience and aptitude for leveraging technology in your outbound process.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at a senior level.
  • Able to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Collaborative and well regarded by cross-functional team members.
  • University Degree and/or Post-Graduate Certificate in Business, Marketing or relevant field.
  • Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States
