What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procedure Scheduler position at Digestive Health Specialists?
Due to continued growth we are hiring for our main office in Dothan, Alabama. We are looking for someone with more than 2 years experience in a medical office environment. Must have good communication skills which includes talking with patients and medical professionals.
We offer a Monday through Friday, 36 hour work-week schedule. Pay to be discussed during interview.
NO phone calls.
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls
- Schedule office appointments and procedure appointments
- Complete tasks as required
- Create orders for procedures
Skills:
- Must be punctual and have regular work attendance
- Medical terminology is helpful
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
- Pleasant telephone voice'

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
