Who we are: Digital Health Solutions is an ISO 13485 certified (final certificate pending) Boston-based engineering and regulatory consulting firm focused on end-to-end product development and contract manufacturing for medical devices. With a rapidly growing team of top skilled engineers and regulatory experts in our Boston and India offices, we help medical device and MedTech companies bring their medical products quicker into market by leveraging our strong domain expertise in hardware, electronics, firmware, mobile app, and IoT/cloud components, as well as in quality V&V and regulatory services. We have deep experience in working on product ideation to design & development, product re-engineering, testing and verification & validation, sustenance engineering, contract manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory compliances and submission.
Job Responsibilities: As Director of Business Development, you will identify, develop and maintain relationships with businesses that can utilize DHS services. Through research, prospecting, client engagement, leveraging your network and other efforts you will cultivate relationships to bring in a consistent stream of new business, and expand our market presence. We will look for you to partner with our dedicated niche engineering teams in both the US and India.
In this role, you will:
• Identify and engage prospective clients via your network, cold calling, internet research/tools/databases, emailing and referrals.
• Leverage CRM tools, marketing resources, and support from technical teams to drive lead generation and client engagement.
• Client engagement and relationship management through in person and virtual meetings
• Become a valued partner through consultative selling while bringing direct industry expertise and insights of the talent market to your customers
• Actively participate in sales strategy meetings
• Manage the job order process-from being the first point of contact, to partnering with our engineering teams to managing delivery strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5 years of current experience selling medical device product development consulting space and possess a deep understanding of the medical device and MedTech industries, including familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485), and the product life cycles from ideation to commercialization.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to understand technical requirements and articulate DHS’s expertise in hardware, electronics, firmware, mobile apps, and IoT/cloud solutions to prospective clients. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with client needs and successful project execution.
- • Successful track record in a competitive, metrics and commission-based environment with ability to set and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, with a focus on increasing revenue from new business opportunities and helping expand relationships with existing clients.
