Summary
The Associate Network Analyst role focuses on providing comprehensive IT support for the client. This position manages all IT activities, services, technology, and products tailored specifically for clients, ensuring that IT investments align with the organization's strategies and objectives. Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing IT Strategies: Create and implement strategies, policies, and plans that effectively utilize IT resources to achieve the client's goals.
2. Maintaining IT Resources: Conduct regular maintenance and ensure optimal functioning and reliability of IT resources.
3. Training and Support: Provide assistance and training to technology users, addressing any issues they encounter with IT systems.
4. Network and Communications Services: Manage network and communication services to facilitate seamless client connectivity.
5. Data Governance: Implement frameworks for data governance, ensuring integrity, security, and compliance.
6. IT Governance Framework: Establish and manage IT governance processes to enhance decision-making, performance monitoring, and reporting.
This role is crucial for anticipating, preventing, and responding to technological interruptions within clients, ensuring uninterrupted IT services. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, providing technical feedback, creating diagnostic tools, and assisting in complex technical solutions. Responsibilities
Deliver IT services, including desktop, mobile, infrastructure, and application management.
Monitor compliance with IT standards and processes.
Utilize established metrics and KPIs to improve IT service delivery continually.
Support client’s ITIL processes such as Change Management, Incident Management, and Request Fulfillment.
Maintain ITSM-related workflows and procedure documents.
Enhance the IT Service Catalog.
Assist in testing and implementing new systems.
Serve as a backup for other departmental roles.
Provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
Experienced in supporting end-user operating systems (Windows, macOS).
Familiar with M365 products, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skilled in risk management.
Knowledgeable about end-user computing devices and peripherals (laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile devices).
Quick learner with an aptitude for new technologies and processes.
Experience in supporting software applications, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop tools.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Minimum Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree required, with a minimum of 4 years of directly related experience.
Relevant certifications may be required to meet Energy industry, federal, state, or local regulations.
Preferred Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
Physical Requirements:
Occasional travel.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs regularly.
Considerable bending and crawling may be necessary during hardware installations.
The role may involve extreme workloads and after-hours support as needed.
