IHOP is looking for a driven and innovative Associate Manager, Product Marketing to make breakfast with us! 🥞
The primary objective of Product Marketing is to attract new visitors and generate profitable transactions strategically through the breakfast equity of our everyday Core Menu, craveable & buzz-worthy Limited Time Offerings (LTO), and competitive Value menu items. We work in tandem with the wider Marketing department to deliver a calendar of promotions that resonate with consumers as “distinctly IHOP”.
This is a hands-on role focused on executing product development, marketing campaigns, and sales performance analysis to best position our menu for guest satisfaction and business growth. You’ll collaborate with both cross-functional team members and external agencies to usher new product and platform initiatives from the initial concept phase to implementation and nationwide rollout.

Responsibilities
- Execute Core, LTO, and Value menu strategies by guiding products through development pipeline
- Manage brainstorming and ideation of new item concepts, platforms, initial names and positioning
- Partner with Consumer Insights, Culinary, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to develop and test new menu items
- Build foundational understanding of supply planning & procurement process
- Support systemwide launch of annual Brand Calendar promotions
- Ensure roll-out materials (recipes, training job aids, field communications) are consistent with Product Marketing expectations
- Provide direction and guidance to prepare POS and Publishing Services for in-restaurant and online menu deployment
- Partner with Brand Experience to craft campaign briefs for both internal and external partners in creative production
- Review creative assets including but not limited to POP, Video, Website, Digital, Email and Social
- Build support and rapport through effective communication across the organization
- Update project performance to manager, cross-functional team, and agencies on an ongoing basis
- Monitor business performance and industry trends to become a category expert
- Partner with Business Analytics to interpret data and develop fact-based recommendations based on approved success criteria when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 3-4 years applicable work experience
- or MBA degree and 1-2 years applicable work experience
- Preferred experience; Brand or product management in a national chain restaurant, agency, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment
- Exceptional organization and project management skills to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with internal/external partners
- Nimble and flexible with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Franchise-based business experience is a plus
- Target salary range 90k-105k depending on experience
