Nanny/Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Nanny/Housekeeper to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with various age groups, including infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children in their care. This role requires creating a positive and engaging atmosphere while supporting the family's needs.

Responsibilities

• Household Management: Run the household efficiently during the day while parents work from home (9-5), ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner and the home environment is well-maintained.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and appealing meals and snacks for the family, including following any dietary preferences or restrictions. Must enjoy cooking and be willing to explore a variety of cuisines.
• Household Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Daily cleaning tasks include tidying up living areas, washing dishes, and ensuring the home is presentable.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
• Organize and declutter spaces to create a comfortable and functional home environment.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed, paying attention to high-traffic areas.
• Errands and Supplies Management: Run occasional errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up items for the household, as needed. Monitor household supplies and notify parents when replenishment is necessary.

Childcare and Daily Routines:

• Educational Support: Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for the children, utilizing a structured homeschool program to foster their educational and personal development. Provide encouragement and support during lessons to ensure a positive learning experience.
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and ensuring children are ready for the day.
• Provide supervision during playtime, encouraging creative and safe activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Be willing to assist with any additional tasks or responsibilities as they arise, ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
