About the Role:
As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for managing complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution. This role requires a high level of independence, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate intricate legal issues in federal court. The firm’s litigation team represents a diverse clientele, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, and emerging businesses, in a wide range of disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of federal litigation, including pleadings, motions practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Handle complex written discovery and eDiscovery processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Conduct legal research and draft high-level memoranda, briefs, and motions.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including oral arguments on discovery motions.
- Work closely with expert witnesses, including identifying, preparing, and defending them for testimony.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on strategic litigation decisions and case management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5 years of commercial litigation experience at a leading law firm.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex federal court cases effectively.
