Corporate Transactions Associate Attorney

This position is available in the firm’s Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or New York office and is part of the firm’s Transactions Practice Group. The group handles a broad range of corporate matters, including emerging companies and venture capital (ECVC) financing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, and general corporate counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on venture capital and early-stage financings, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions.
• Provide general corporate counsel to publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, entrepreneurs, and investors.
• Collaborate directly with partners, clients, and team members in a collegial, creative, and collaborative culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active Bar membership in good standing, with timely admission to the applicable jurisdiction’s Bar required.
• 2-5 years of experience in venture capital/early-stage financings, M&A, private equity, and general corporate matters.
• Strong drafting, project management, writing, and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to professional growth.
• Experience building and managing client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits:

• California and New York: Salary range of $240,000 - $350,000, based on experience and job-related factors.
