Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is Seeking an Associate Attorney to Join a National Public Interest Law Firm

We are seeking an Associate Attorney for a Nashville, TN-based role at a prominent national public interest law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful cases involving class action lawsuits and individual actions related to financial fraud, securities, ERISA, consumer protection, and data breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent plaintiffs in class actions and individual litigation.
• Conduct factual and legal research, and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery, participate in depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Provide legal advice and develop claims for clients.
• Collaborate with and supervise legal assistants.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and/or class action litigation.
• Clerkship experience or demonstrated interest in securities, consumer protection, and civil rights litigation is preferred.
• Licensed in Tennessee or eligible for immediate admission.
• Familiarity with complex litigation, large-scale discovery, and e-discovery.

This is a hybrid role, requiring regular in-office attendance three days per week, with occasional travel.
