Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join a leading firm's Real Estate group in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a strong, collaborative team with a long history of excellence in real estate law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, divestitures, Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs), real estate loans, Reciprocal Easement Agreements (REAs), and other development governance instruments.
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with a team focusing on end-users of real estate, with minimal lender representation and borrower-focused financing work.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of substantial real estate experience, including a track record of managing sophisticated real estate transactions.
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional drafting skills.
- Active membership in the Tennessee Bar or eligibility to become licensed to practice in Tennessee.
- Residency in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
