About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Excavation Foreman to lead our team in site preparation, trenching,
grading, and utility installation. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on
experience in heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate excavation crews on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications.
- Operate and oversee heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays.
- Train and mentor crew members as needed.
- Maintain records of work completed, materials used, and safety inspections.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in excavation, earthwork, or site development.
- Proven leadership experience in a foreman or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and understanding site layouts.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
