DPA is a dynamic and rapidly growing real estate investment and construction company specializing in single-family homes, multifamily properties, and small commercial projects. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project/Property Manager to join our team.
Section 8 previous management preferred.
Position Overview: We are looking for a Project/Property Manager with extensive knowledge in the real estate construction and rehabbing sector along with section 8 property management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading and overseeing projects to completion, from cosmetic updates to full gut rehabs. As you will be working closely with contractors, maintaining and overseeing multiple projects, and being highly responsive even outside of regular working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction and rehab projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress and quality of work.
- Coordinate project schedules and resources effectively.
- Maintain a strong network of contractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and investors.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Be available and responsive outside of regular working hours.
- Manage projects in both Illinois and Indiana markets.
- Acquire & Manage Permits
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in project and property management in the real estate construction and rehab sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and permitting requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain oversight of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Willingness to work some Saturdays and be accessible outside of regular working hours.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
