Junior Litigation Associate Attorney (San Francisco)
Direct Counsel is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate to join a leading law firm’s Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions Group and Proposition 65 practice in San Francisco, California . This role is ideal for an ambitious attorney looking to develop their litigation skills in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
About the Role :
The successful candidate will play a key role in defending clients in complex litigation matters , including consumer class actions, product liability cases, Proposition 65 disputes, and other regulatory litigation . This position offers direct involvement in case strategy, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Case Management & Strategy – Support senior attorneys in handling all aspects of litigation, from case inception through resolution.
- Legal Research & Writing – Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
- Discovery & Depositions – Assist in managing discovery, preparing witnesses, and handling depositions.
- Court Appearances – Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Assessment – Advise clients on compliance with Proposition 65, consumer protection laws, and product safety regulations .
- Client Communication – Work closely with clients, providing updates, strategic advice, and risk assessments.
