Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations and health of our company. This role includes managing accounting, financial planning, reporting, project control, and risk management while ensuring full compliance with legal and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Cash & Treasury Management: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, and treasury operations.
• Financial & Asset Management: Ensure accurate management of accounting, assets, and inventory.
• Payroll Compliance: Implement compliant labor accounting practices for timely and accurate payroll.
• Period-End Close: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure reliable financial results.
• Annual Financial Planning: Prepare and monitor the annual budget and forecasts, ensuring financial health.
• Performance Reporting: Analyze and report actual financial performance, enhancing business intelligence for leadership.
• Business Case Analysis: Advise on investment and spending decisions to reduce financial risk.
• Project Cost Control: Lead program control functions using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for project budgeting.
• Proposal Support: Collaborate on customer quotes and proposal preparation, focusing on business case impact.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to GAAP, CAS, FAR, DFARS, and other regulations.
• Tax Compliance: Manage tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• ERP System Ownership: Oversee ERP tools such as Costpoint, Unanet, and QuickBooks.
• Team Leadership: Hire, lead, and mentor the Finance and Accounting team, including performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred).
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Expertise in accounting principles, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with ERP and accounting software like Costpoint, Unanet, and QuickBooks.
• Strong financial modeling experience, particularly with U.S. government contracts.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to pass background checks, credit checks, and drug screenings.
