Do you enjoy helping others and making a difference in their lives? We continue to grow and need to add another Information, Referral, and Eligibility Specialist to our team at DPOK! This position will help people and their support network with the application process for Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) services. The Specialist will provide information and referral, determine a person's eligibility and assist with connecting the applicant with appropriate resources in multiple counties in Southeast KS. This position will also be responsible for providing community education on the referral and eligibility process. A positive attitude, customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and a responsive and supportive mind-set are central to the position. Post secondary degree in social services, business or related field prefereed, but not required. Experience working in the I/DD service system, social services, information and referral or with persons with developmental disabilities is preferred. This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule.
