Advocate
Advocate sought by the Disability Rights Center (DRC) of Kansas to advocate with and on behalf of Kansas clients with disabilities. Advocates will work under the direction of a licensed attorney in order to provide effective legally-based advocacy services to Kansans with disabilities. Advocates help obtain justice and protect the rights of Kansans with disabilities.
Four-year college degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience is required.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40-hour-a-week position, 8 am to 5 pm (M-F). Annual salary approximately $40K to $45K, depending on experience.
DRC Kansas is a non-profit, disability rights legal advocacy agency. DRC is a 501(c)(3) organization that qualifies for student loan forgiveness.
